The Employee Benefits Compliance Officer provides senior level compliance and technical support. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and researching regulatory issues, developing and executing compliance strategies, and assisting in the business development and retention process. This individual will also be responsible for assisting with ensuring clients are staying apprised of and in compliance with ERISA, PPACA, HIPAA, COBRA and various other State and Federal regulatory and employment matters.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational, research, writing, leadership, business and client relationship skills, and will need to possess a high work ethic and be able to work independently with minimal supervision and a high attention to detail. A minimum of three years of applicable experience is required and although not essential, a legal background is preferred.
